Adjustable workstations
for different purposes

From research and development to
small-batch assembly work, Bosch Rexroth
workstation systems have a broad range of
uses across a variety of industries.

Industrial workstations, often found in production
environments for products such as consumer electronics
or medical devices, are ideal for small to medium
component assembly tasks. The ability to customise
workstations to suit varying requirements means they
are also well-suited for inspection and test operations, as
well as for product development work.

Packing and order fulfilment for ecommerce and other
similar industries can also be improved with a
workstation designed to make the task easier and more
comfortable, increasing efficiency.

Whatever the scope of your workstation project, as a
Bosch Rexroth partner providing complete
solutions, we can provide a tailored option to suit your
exact requirements.

Custom manufacturing workstations to meet
changing requirements

In some industries such as automotive component manufacturers, an increase in the need for production flexibility to remain competitive has impacted on workstation requirements in recent years. This increase in flexible manufacturing in response to changing demands has led to some assembly lines being replaced or enhanced with custom assembly workstations, freeing up valuable manufacturing space for other work.

For companies experiencing these changes, or needing additional production flexibility, manufacturing assembly workstations from Bosch Rexroth can make a significant difference and make it easier to adapt to new ways of working.

Bosch Rexroth Workstations

Bosch Rexroth ergonomic workstations

Worker ergonomics is an important topic, and can improve both worker
wellbeing and productivity by creating the most comfortable, efficient
workspace.

Bosch Rexroth offers a huge range of aluminium extrusions and workstation
accessories, giving an almost limitless range of custom workstation configurations to
suit your business. This includes options for panelling, component storage, and power,
along with features enabling each workstation to be optimised for workers of different
heights.

Ensuring suitable lighting for the activity taking place at the workstation can help
improve quality and efficiency, reduce fatigue and improve concentration. Bosch
Rexroth’s LED lamp system provides glare-free, flicker-free workstation lighting, with
the flexibility to control individual lamps to provide the required lighting for each
worker and activity. A controller can also be used to dim the lamps if required. The LED
system lamps also offer up to 60% energy savings compared to conventional
workstation lighting.

Bosch Rexroth Workstations

Height-adjustable workstations

Bosch Rexroth ergonomic workstation systems can be fully height-adjustable,
meaning they can be adapted to suit different workers and different products. This makes them a versatile option for shared workspaces and different uses. The material feed height and the working height can be independently adjustable, providing maximum flexibility and ensuring they can be adapted to suit all members of your workforce.

The height-adjustable workstations feature electronic controls with the ability to programme and save pre-set positions to enable quick adjustments when swapping between workers or tasks.

While workstations are usually static, we can use casters for projects which require them to be movable for additional flexibility.

EcoShape workstation solutions

Bosch Rexroth’s Manual Production Systems comprise aluminium strut profiles
and accessories which are ideal for creating customised workstations as outlined
above.

In addition, workstations can also be created using Bosch Rexroth’s EcoShape tubular
framing system, which is a lightweight alternative to steel tube systems.

Its connectors are intelligently designed to offer maximum stability, and the modular
system is compatible with other Bosch Rexroth extrusions too, including the Manual
Production Systems and Aluminium Framing System.

Aluminium workstations are an ideal option for most uses, as the material is both
lightweight and very sturdy. However, for workstations needing to cope with heavier
equipment, we can also supply more heavy-duty alternative solutions to suit your
project.

Integration with other Bosch Rexroth
assembly technologies

Bosch workstations have a modular design with the ability to integrate with
other Bosch Rexroth solutions to create well-designed, efficient working areas.
For example, flow rack systems are often used alongside assembly workstations
to provide easy access to components and improve efficiency.

We are able to advise on the best combination of Bosch Rexroth solutions for your
next workstation project, so get in touch with our expert team to discuss your
options.
