Bespoke industrial mezzanines

Manufactured in our purpose-built facilities in the Cotswolds (close to the M4 & M5 corridors – we install across the UK), we can offer a full service in mezzanine production. Site surveys, design, manufacture and installation – however we can also work to our clients designs when needed. Key considerations for the mezzanine will be load bearing capacity, building regulation compliance, integration with existing infrastructure, accessibility and ergonomics for your team, space utilisation and of course safety – during production, installation, and of course safety for the users of the mezzanine when completed.

We can offer a range of coatings, tread plates, handrails / guards, access points and gates – we can ultimately tailor the mezzanine to your environmental and business needs.

Industrial access platforms, walkways and catwalks

Often in combination with our mezzanines and staircases we create access platforms, walkways and catwalks for clients across the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Typical reasons for constructing these items are: Enabling safe access, speed up material handling, optimize workflow, enable maintenance and installation, provide suitable observation and monitoring, create emergency evacuation routes, and to meet compliance and regulations. Like our mezzanines our platforms, walkways and catwalks are fully customisable. They are available in steel and stainless steel.

Industrial handrails and guardrails

All of our mezzanines, access platforms, walkways and catwalks will come with some format of handrail or guardrail to ensure the safety of our clients. These can be standard format which ensures the safety of your personal in typical situations, they can also have mesh infill panels that provide protection for falling items but still allow visual access, you could have solid toeboards for providing further low level prevention of objects falling down, you can also have heavy duty kick plates to provide protection from equipment in the area. Ultimately it very much depends upon the use and environment, and ensuring all regulations are more than met.

Safety fencing and machine guarding at a raised level

We have been creating safety systems in manufacturing and industrial environments for over 25 years. Much of this is at ground level, but because we are so involved with raised level work we have also created a lot of safety barriers and machine guarding at a raised level. Some machinery goes to a high level, robotic arms can swing high, some machine inspection needs to be close but from above, some mezzanines, walkways, gantries, catwalks and platforms have operational equipment above them so we have made safety barriers above them.
